Progress stages of a caricature (click the images below for visual commentary)
FIRST STAGE - Email the photograph with the size you require and any other information such as what you would like in the background or interests to be included in caricatures. SECOND STAGE - I give an idea of the price and the time scale of how long the picture will take. THIRD STAGE - Once the price is agreed, I will begin the picture. I draw & paint in a variety of materials. I don't do digital computer portraits/caricatures etc, I use real materials in real time. I will use a computer to receive photos and to update the client of the progress of the picture. FOURTH STAGE - I can e-mail you photos of the progress of your picture and an image of the finished painting. The advantages of progressive updates are you can tell me any changes you require - though usually this is quite rare as the composition is agreed at the initial stages of the piece. FIFTH STAGE - Upon final agreement send payment and I will post the painting. If you are local to Tyne & Wear you can collect your picture in person (preferred) or somewhere mutually convenient for us both. Note: Please state in the first stage whether you want the painting stretched onto a frame (so you can fit it yourself into a picture frame of your choice) or sent rolled up in a tube prior to dispatch. If you want your picture posted in a tube/cylinder the postage and tube is £10. If you want your picture framed and posted it will cost £20 sent anywhere in England or Scotland. I am based in the Gateshead area of Tyne and Wear, England, UK (near Newcastle upon Tyne). Please state if you require the painting to be delivered outside the UK at the estimate stage. If you wish to place an order or have any further questions, please do not hesitate to email me at: email@example.com
