Do you want a bespoke, unique gift for a special occasion such as a retirement, wedding, birthday, Christmas gift or just to say thanks to someone?

If so look no further and feel free to look at the caricatures on my website in the various drop down menus!

Hopefully you like the pictures I have produced in pencil, paint and ink.

To give a bit of background on me I have been drawing & painting for as long as I can remember.

When I was at school I used to win art & design prizes and after my "A" levels and foundation course, I did my Bachelor of Arts honours degree in Fine Art at Sunderland University (and I am a Geordie born and brought up in the west end of Newcastle upon Tyne).

I specialised in painting & drawing  and graduated in 1993.

I enjoy the process of creating works of art for clients & the pleasure & humour my work brings to the  recipient of my work.

This includes keeping in touch throughout the progress of the work until it is finally completed.

That can be at live events where i produce caricatures quickly or a commissioned  piece I complete at a later date.

I am approachable and professional, priding myself in having an excellent client/artist relationship, e‐mailing the customer with the progress of the painting.

I enjoy the process of painting in watercolour, acrylic & oils. You can gauge what the recipients think by viewing my testimonials page.

I am a member of the SAA ( the Society for All Artists). Ed Ward B.A. (Hons) Fine Art.

Original art at an affordable price. Oil paintings & watercolours with a unique touch using a host of other materials to make your picture perfect.

I also use acrylic paint, pencils and a selection of what I refer to as "finishing" pens. This includes using a fine liner to complete the final piece. Whether it's a painting of a much loved member of your family, a cherished pet, a painting of yourself or for a friend you have come to the right place.Have your memories captured forever in a unique medium.

I usually work from digital photographs emailed or texted over to me by the client but I can also work from life where subjects are in front of me.

The photographs can either be e-mailed, posted or delivered by hand, whichever is the most convenient for the customer.

It is worth saying that a good quality photograph will produce a good quality painting.

You are the most important part of the commission and I want customers to be entirely happy and satisfied with the end result.

I usually offer to frame the paintings but again this is entirely your choice, however, I do not at this stage offer a framing service for oil paintings as these are normally done on box canvases and it is personal choice as to how you wish to display this in your  home.

Most of my paintings are in the north of England in Newcastle upon Tyne & Durham. A number of pieces are u and down the country  & abroad in the U.S.A, Spain, Italy and Australia.

Whatever your requirements I will be happy to discuss these with you, so please do not hesitate to contact me.

I have recently diversified into graphics on motor cycle helmets, visual minutes and murals too - look on my "Further Projects" listing in the main menu.

For more information on frame colour & sizes click the below price list button & scroll to the middle of the screen.

Note a new feature on my most popular work "All Caricatures" - I have done that many I have placed a gallery option at the start of the screen so you scan a number of pictures and just click to enlarge or scroll through.

I enjoy creating the caricatures as the composition is an extra fun part. As it stands at the moment I've done over 100 of them - they are rather cool, even if I do say so myself!

If you have a particular style of painting in mind I will tailor the painting to your specific requirements. As you will see from the images on this website you can have true life portraits in oils or caricatures painted in watercolours/acrylics.

Whatever your requirements, I will be happy to discuss these with you, so please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to working with you.

Below are screen shots of the "All Caricatures" screens which can be accessed on the menu at the top of the screen with other pictures including pet portraits, portraits and so on which will show the whole picture when you click on the image:-
