I have been drawing & painting for as long as I can remember.

When I was at school I used to win art & design prizes and after my "A" levels and foundation course, I did my Bachelor of Arts honours degree in Fine Art at Sunderland University. I specialised in painting & I graduated in 1993.

I enjoy the process of creating works of art for clients & the pleasure & often humour my work brings to the intended recipient. This includes having a good relationship and keeping in touch throughout the progress of the work is also important.

I am approachable and professional, priding myself in having an excellent client/artist relationship, e‐mailing the customer with the progress of the painting.

I also use acrylic paint, pencils and a selection of what I refer to as "finishing" pens. This includes using a fine liner to complete the final piece. Whether it's a painting of a much loved member of your family, a cherished pet, a painting of yourself or for a friend you have come to the right place.Have your memories captured forever in a unique medium. I usually work from photographs but I can also work from life where subjects are in front of me. The photographs can either be e-mailed, posted or delivered by hand, whichever is the most convenient for the customer. It is worth saying that a good quality photograph will produce a good quality painting. 

You are the most important part of the commission and I want customers to be entirely happy and satisfied with the end result. I usually offer to frame the paintings but again this is entirely your choice, however, I do not at this stage offer a framing service for oil paintings as these are normally done on box canvases and it is personal choice as to how you wish to display this in your  home. Most of my paintings are in the north of England in Newcastle upon Tyne & Durham. A number of pieces are u and down the country  & abroad in the U.S.A, Spain, Italy and Australia.

Note a new feature on my most popular work "All Caricatures" - I have done that many I have placed a gallery option at the start of the screen so you scan a number of pictures and just click to enlarge or scroll through. I enjoy creating the caricatures as the composition is an extra fun part. As it stands at the moment I've done over 100 of them - they are rather cool, even if I do say so myself!
